Faust – Live With the Nebulous Orchestra

I liked this.  It dragged a bit in the middle of the film, but the imagery of the first act played perfectly with the live symphonic orchestra.  This was the original German film from 1926.

The ending was a bit weird but movies didn’t really nail the landing back then.

Upon further reflection it peaked early and the plague parts did not go well with the romantic parts.  It felt like two different stories.
